1. Acceptance of Terms
By using jantoktrading.co.ke or engaging Janto(K) Trading Limited
("Janto", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree,
you must not use our services.
2. Company Information
Janto(K) Trading Limited is a logistics and shipping company operating between
the United Kingdom and Kenya, providing air cargo, sea cargo, vehicle shipping,
and general freight forwarding services.
3. Shipping Services & Rates

Air Cargo to Kenya: £7.50 per Kg
Estimated delivery: 7–10 working days from departure

Sea Cargo to Kenya: £3.99 per Kg
Estimated delivery: 1–2 months from departure
4. Parcel Delivery to Our Warehouses
Customers may deliver parcels in person, via courier, or request collection
at an agreed cost. Customers purchasing goods abroad may use JANTO warehouses
as the delivery address.

5. Weight, Valuation & Packing Requirements
Shipping charges are calculated based on either actual weight or dimensional
weight, whichever is greater. Customers must provide a declared shipment value
together with a complete packing list or invoice. Photographs may be required
for accountability before shipping.
6. Payment Terms
All air and sea cargo payments must be made at the point of sale.
Late payments may attract additional charges.
7. Risk, Fragile Goods & Electronics
All glassware, fragile items, TVs, and electronic goods are shipped strictly
at the owner’s risk. JANTO does not provide insurance for
fragile or glass items.
Electronics including phones, laptops, tablets, TVs, and similar items are
charged separately. Insufficient or improper packing transfers all risk to
the customer.
8. Delivery Timelines
Quoted delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to logistics,
customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.
9. Unclaimed & Missing Goods
Goods not collected within ten (10) days of offloading may be disposed of
at our discretion. Items are only considered missing if not received within
one (1) month after the expected delivery date.
10. Health Products & Machinery
Over-the-counter medications, dietary supplements, and nutritional products
must be declared and are shipped at the owner’s risk.
Machinery, engines, and gearboxes must be packed in sturdy pallet boxes.
Customers are advised to contact us before shipping such items.
11. Vehicle & RO/RO Shipping
JANTO offers Roll-On/Roll-Off (RO/RO) vehicle and machinery shipping.
Quotes and specific terms are provided separately.
12. Declaration of Dangerous Goods
Customers must declare that shipments do not contain dangerous goods,
including combustible liquids, compressed gases, aerosols, lithium batteries,
radioactive materials, or illegal items. Failure to declare may result in
penalties, delays, or disposal without compensation.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by both UK and Kenyan law.
Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the
receiving country.
